What goes around. Healys and the Brighton Wheel

Healys is delighted to have been involved, in its capacity as legal advisors to the developers Paramount Attractions, in the realisation of the eagerly awaited Brighton Wheel Project. It will provide breath-taking views of the coastline, surrounding architecture and landmarks providing a commentary guided tour of the heritage of Brighton & Hove.

Dubbed ‘Brighton’s Eye in the Sky’ the project has been 5 years in the making and is located on Madeira Drive (close to the Brighton Pier and Healys’ Brighton office).

Standing 45 metres in diameter compared to the London Eye at 135 metres, the German made wheel has been constructed by Dutch Wheels, with a team of 25 riggers.

The new spectacular £6 million tourist attraction has planning permission to remain in place until 2016 and is estimated to draw in over 250,000 tourists per year and will create over 30 permanent jobs.
