Healys has demonstrated its commitment to expanding its cross border work by being invited to become a member of Galexy, the renowned international group of law firms.
Healys’ managing partner Marios Pattihis had this to say:
“We are developing working relationships with firms in India, China, Germany and Cyprus, joining Galexy was the logical next stage of the process. It demonstrates our intention to expand our international work. Joining Galexy is an important step for us”.
Galexy is an international association of 18 law firms based in 13 jurisdictions around the globe. Representatives from Galexy’s members meet regularly to discuss international legal issues, further their understanding of other countries' legal systems and to develop cooperation between member firms.
The 2008 commercial world is such that there is now an increasing need for law firms to be able to offer their clients legal advice, not only on English law and its effect but also on how that law interacts with the law of different jurisdictions. At Healys we have recognised this and adapted accordingly.
