Experience
Dino qualified in 1984 and worked in a small two-partner Brighton practice. He became a partner in 1986, undertaking a mixture of contentious and non-contentious work.
He became a member of the Criminal Lawyers Duty Solicitor Scheme at its inception in the late 1980s and, at this time, undertook advocacy at Civil and Magistrates' Courts, including conduct of trials.
In 1990 Dino took charge of a subsidiary office in Brighton where he was responsible for the management and supervision of the office together with supervision and training of other fee earners. He continued a mixed practice but by the early 1990s he had developed a specialisation in personal injury work having secured a major legal expense client.
In 2001, Dino moved to Healys' larger practice where his specialism in personal injury work was recognised.
Dino's main areas of interest are accidents at work and fatal accident claims (including conducting of inquest hearings). Dino has secured high awards for severe injury cases where clients have suffered amputation and brain injury.
Having further developed his professional skills by undertaking a Masters degree in law at LSE in 1995/1997, Dino has trained as a mediator securing CEDR Accreditation in 2005.
Following conversion to LLP status in April 2009 Dino was appointed Managing Partner. In this role he manages responsibilities for Healys' Brighton and London offices, overseeing and implementing the firm's strategy.
