Jonathan acts on behalf of severely injured claimants in high value claims and has received accreditation for membership of the Law Society Personal Injury Panel since 1999. He has been a member of APIL since 1993 and was recognised as a Senior Litigator in 2005.
Having a particular interest in accidents involving motorcyclists and traumatic brain injury (TBI), Jonathan also acts for clients who have suffered catastrophic injuries due to criminal assaults, representing them in order to pursue Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority (CICA) compensation.
He also undertakes clinical negligence work, solely for claimants, including oncology cases, misdiagnosis and inappropriate treatments, lack of informed consent and infant death cases.
Jonathan is able to advise on the most appropriate method of funding a claim, including conditional fee agreements for applicable cases. Healys is also able to arrange funding under a delegated authority scheme for personal injury and clinical negligence cases.
