Robert is the head of the London branch of the dispute resolution department. Robert joined Healys in September 2005.

Prior to joining Healys, Robert had previously (2002 to August 2005) been a partner in a large regional firm, and before that (1987 to 2002) an associate solicitor in a large city practice.

Robert has broad expertise in commercial litigation, including IT disputes; banking and other fraud; claimant professional negligence; partnership and shareholder disputes; insolvency; breach of warranty claims and other contractual disputes. He also has extensive experience in document management (preparation of cases and document retention policies) and other risk management issues (terms of engagement, money laundering and crisis management).

Robert is and has been a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers Association (“the PNLA”) since it was formed in 2004. The PNLA consists of solicitors who specialise in acting for claimants in negligence claims against professionals.

Robert often shares the risks of litigation with his clients by acting on various forms of conditional fee agreements. By way of example,

He is a well-rounded, balanced individual who works as effectively alone and as part/leader of a team.
